besides that... the A4 calipers if being used will not fit around the width of the S8 brakes.

These are the rotors from the "Track Sport Rear" Kit on the Stasis Brake Products page -- but without the pads, ss lines, or brake fluid, which I already have. The addition of a "Street Sport" front brake kit for the A8 on their web page is new, and they now have front and rear "Track Sport" kits for the A8/S8, which I expect they'll be showing on their web site soon.
The necessary brackets are not shown in the photo, but they just reposition the existing rear calibers for the larger diameter rotor. These are 298x20 rotors versus the original 280x22. Upgrading the rear caliper is more difficult because of the complications with the parking brake. Also, I had the aluminum hats black anodized; normally they're not finished.
I really had no compelling reason to upgrade the rear rotors, but I did come up with three weak rationalizations,
1. The 2-piece rotor with aluminum hat is 5 lb lighter than the original rotor.
2. Though I haven't had any noticeable problems with only the front Alcon upgrade, the larger lever arm of the new rear rotor restores some of the original brake bias.
3. They look better; and it's been too long since I've done anything to the S8.
The package just arrived from Stasis today, and they look great.

I was looking into getting the Stasis set-up with the rear a few months ago with Matrix, they (Stasis) strongly recommend it...unfortunately my money flow was not great at the time...for long term that would be my goal...
