Default When are you planning to do yours...i might take it into a local shop and see what they quote me for
custom fabing the pipe. If the price is right i might do it.

Default Dont do it...
I had my resonator removed from my Scorpion exhaust and it was simply too loud.. The droning sound just drove me nuts and I had to put it back in..

Isnt the scorpion a much louder muffler to begin with though?

well from the SS that i have heard it is almost stock....i want to be able to hear it a little more

Default I don't think it would be too loud, lots of people with vw 1.8ts run straight pipes without mufflers
resonators or a cat and can deal with the sound, its all about what you prefer and can deal with.

Yeah. The supersprint is very quiet. Its louder now with my new 1.3 bar chip though.
