The Boston speaker is a 5.25 speaker with four evenly spaced mounting holes. The doors have a 5.25" mounting location with two mounting holes on the bottom and one at the top. The bottom two line up perfectly with the holes in the speakers and the top hole is right in the middle of the two speaker holes.
The speaker fit so perfectly - and - iirc - the MBquart adapter did not, so I CAREFULLY drilled one hole on the edge of the speaker between the original two. I was a little more daring becasue the speakers were older and I will willing to take a chance. The speaker housing is aluminum so drill carefully if you plan to do this.
Oh - to answer your question - I think that they will work, but did not fit right. Hopefully someone else will post if they actually used them...

The hard part is finding a set of the freakin' adapters. I had to call every stereo shop in the Washington DC phone book before I found ONE shop that had ONE set.
They sound phenomenal, BTW. You'll really be pleased.
