Default mm I hope either you or wife or you are not too tall.

This is not meant as an insult its just that the rear facing child seats take up a lot of room in the A4. Luckily, my wife is 5'5" so the seat went behind her in the Avant. I have the medallion 5 comfort touch that fits well, not great, in rear facing mode and is much better when forward facing (my son is now forward facing as he's over 20 lbs and can sit upright).

My advice would be to go to a place that will alow you to test the fit by trying different models in your car to guage what's best for you.

One quick word of advice. Use a rolled up towel to raise the front (rear facing) or back (forward facing) angle as the seat angle is quite pronounced in the A4.

I hope this is of some help, if not, please feel free to e-mail me for more details.

Default Britax is expensive if I recall correctly. I got my seat per a recommendation from a member

of this board. The medallion 5 is quite nice, you should check it out if its available locally. Just remember, this one will last to about 40lbs or 3 years give or take!

BTW, how's the newest family member? How many pics have you taken with the F100 (I am assuming you are probably driving people nuts as I am too)? Gaining weight? Sleeping much?

Default Safest/best is a very relative term.

One word of advice, don't pay any attention ot the charts as each baby is different. OUrs was 5 weeks premature and now is in-line with babies his age (8 months).

Nice lens choices as you now have the gambit covered.

enjoy you time with him at this stage, it truly is a spercial time!

Oh did I congratulate you and your wife?

Cheers,

Peter

I' am going home to feed and bathe the little guy now!

Default Perhaps the center position will work, but then you'll have to

move oth seats forward as opposed to only one behind the wife.

If you must have the best, go for the Brutax but I would try before you buy!

My next child seat will be Recaro for jr.

either way, as long as you and your wife are satisfied, thats all that counts.

One more comment; putting mm jr. in the middle of the back seat will strain your back as he gets bigger.
