Default Thanks for the response, but that doesn't really answer my question

I guess I'm looking for some specifics. Let me rephrase. I have a 2.5" downpipe and exhaust, and a 1 bar chip. I'm assuming that the stock cat is similar in diameter to the rest of the stock exhaust. So, this leads me to believe that the stock cat is creating a bottleneck in the exhaust flow when combined with a 2.5" dp and exhaust. What kind of gains would I achieve by replacing the stock cat with a 2.5" hiflo cat. Would it be noticable, or a waste of money.
