Default Anyone running an Intrax super sport setup? I just called them for their spring rates..

They gave me 171-243 up front and a linear 265 in the rear. Their site says 2.25-2.5" lowering. Just wondering if anyone had any comments on them.

Any ideas on something with around 2" drop and a little stiffer than stock sport?

Default um H&R race maybe?

most springs come in 2 heights 40mm shorter and 60mm

2" is 50.8mm

I like H&R and Vogtland

I've used on A4's
H&R
Eibach
Vogtland
Intrax
hyperco

Mind you you also need to change the shock absorbers are the same time... you will want either bilstein sports or Koni sports.

Or if you want some adjustability just save up the $800-$1000 for some coilovers and you can set your own ride height.

Default I've looked at them but from what I gather they are no more stiff than stock sports..

I guess I could just wait for coilovers but I wanted to do the suspension at the same time as the control arms. They need replaced soon. I like the ultra h&r. FK, Intrax and h&r all have group buys going on their coilovers. Maybe I'll have to jump! Thanks for the input.

Default um... control arms and changing shocks/springs have nothing to do with one another

only common step is taking the wheel off.

It was more of, while I'm in there type of thing. I tend to be a little busy to have high downtime.

Default again... the two are not related unless you are changing the lower straight arm

and even then... the two are not very related.

Expect 8-10 hours to change all 4 corners if you are doing this yourself with hand tools and 1 helper.

Default Yeah, my response to yours didn't make any sense after I read it..

If I have ECS do it, they would give me a large labor break. Kinda like when they did my TB, water pump and snub mount.
Do you have any opinions on the Neuspeed race? On par with H&R or no?
What about labor times with one helper and just the front 8 CA's/tie rods? It would save me alot of money but want to know if it's even worth the time.
