anyone running an SMIC in series with an FMIC?

I know there are dual SMIC setups for some european (and I think B6?) cars...

who realized that having a massive FMIC caused the car to overheat. Just run a single FMIC, you'll probably loose more with pressure drop than you'll gain from the air being a tad cooler through the SMIC in addition.

but you get too many bends and there is a much higher pressure drop with that setup. There is no reason to run the stock smic if the fmic is doing its job to lower the IAT's. Now maybe running a air/water setup after a fmic that has cold water running thru it might help lower the IAT's even more.
