And we got $1600 more than ANY car dealer offered us for the car we were trading in. And we checked several. I say that if you don't want to deal with selling the car, definately take it to Car Max and see what they have to offer. We got about halfway between the Kelly Blue Book trade in value, and the Kelly Blue Book private party sale value on our car. So you can spend the extra time, effort, and money to get the full private party trade in value, or you can take it to car max and get your money in 24 hours guaranteed. But still make sure you know how much your car is worth, I may have just gotten a good deal.

a few years back for a Saturn, at CarMax near Dulles, VA. No haggle, whole thing took about an hour. And I wasn't trading it in either on one of their cars.
