Anyone tell me why SIII has a longer install then the PES T-28 kit?
I recall Rich W posting that Tony did his install in only 4 hours (granted Tony would be as fast as anyone since he would be most familiar).
From what i see both kits have a manifold, the PES uses the stock cat, but a cat is just a couple bolts on each side...both have injectors, etc, and the PES actually has that intake.
Anywho, any idea why APR's kit takes so much longer. A woman who answered the phone from APR quoted me 20 hours install, but ive dealt with her before, and tend to ignore what she says. Two local installers quoted me $600-$800 to install the SIII which im thinking takes about 8 hours or so.
Any ideas? Ed and Yippers, how long did Ed's install take?

20 hours?!?!? LOL!
9 hours if you know what you're doing, and I estimate the time differential of PES/APR is due to:
1. PES kit reuses the lines IIRC.
2. Manifold bolts on the APR kit are VERY tough to get at - you've gotta be creative
3. The cat bolts aren't much fun to work with either

One thing (beyond what Mark said) is that with both you pull the stock air box but with the APR you
re-install it. 20 hours is rediculous tho ... I pulled mine for the actuator upgrade in a little over 5 hours including taking apart the turbo/manifold/CAT and I am guessing it will go back in in around 6 hrs tops. This is without a lift .. nose up on stands only. With a lift I'd estimate dropping .5-1 hour.
Like Mark says .. the main issue is the Iconel manifold (beautiful piece BTW) and messing with the cat.
