anyone tried putting the tire into the spare tire well face down?
I honeslty havn't even looked at it yet so I don't know what kind of mounting hardware modifications might need to be made, but I'd like to know because I'd like to keep my spare tire but utilize this space for a sub, and it would be easier with the tire flipped rim face down.

Not yet, but it sounds like a good idea for my R-28 spare now that I think about it....
As long as there is some kinda of carpeting at the bottom so the wheel doesn't get all scratched up it should be ok.
