anyone use ARCO gas in CA? i dont trust it...

But their stations suck.

I only put their gas in the cars I rent. Last car I owned that I used their gas I had to replace the fuel filter 6 months later.

yeah, screw it...ill pay 6 cents a gallon more and get some 76.

Some of the Arco's(am/pm) here are higher then the other gas stations.

The reason it's cheaper is that they use methanol to raise the octane. There are cars designed to

use methanol like fords but the chemical weakens elastic compounds like rubber over time. I will NEVER use any methanol fuel in any of my cars.

We must have got gas at the same station. Mud came out of the filler pipe when done

I don't trust Arco stations too. No maintenance on their tanks
