Default can't compare, because i've never used the cube...

but after using the HF tool, i didn't walk away wishing i had used a different tool.

no complaints with the hf tool.

Default How about the 8mm hex key..

Do you use a torque wrench to screw them back and what is the torque for the back. I've done the front at 25Nm.

Default Yes, totally. I can say this 100%

Just did the rear brakes this weekend (resurfaced rotors, new pads. I *once* used the cube POS, it DOESN'T FOCKING WORK. I rented the tool from my local Schucks at $6 for two days.

That's a nice price for the tool. May have to do some shopping at Harbor freight. Thanks for the link!

Default If you're in no hurry...check HF once a month...

they do periodically put that kit on sale for $20.

Default Got it at Auto Zone

For 35 buck and I have 90 days to return it...so if it comes up for sale at HF I buy it there and return the auto zone one..

Thanks guys.

Default Yes. It's worth the money even if you use it only once.

Never again will I have to cuss my way through a rear brake change with only a pair of needle nose pliers to twist the pistons back.

If only I saw your post earlier. HF had a sale on the kit for $20 that ended today. Keep checking the local stores ads though like RKA said.
