I need to top off my coolant and wanted to know if I could just use Prestone since I have some in the garage. Owners' manual says to use factory fluid.

I have a 2001 and the coolant is red- the manual says if you use anything other their specifications it will change the color of the fluid and the coolant must be changed-don't know if your still under warranty but sometimes there a pain about that!!
