Default misalignment, poorly balanced tire, nasty pothole.

most likely a badly balanced tire, look for missing wieghts.

of course the bearing could've been damaged during the install...or the grease was missing.

Default Wider tires, wheels that are pushed out wider, stiff suspension, ...

improper installation (damaged during installation, or the bolt was not torqued properly).. There are other reasons too I'm sure.

Default What were your symptoms? I think I may have one going.

Either that or the differential. What did yours sound/feel like?

Thanks!

If the original was bad enough, I think it could have possibly damaged the hub. just a geuss though

Default If a torch was used to heat and remove the bearing it can warp the housing.

Bearings should only be pressed out.

Default a droning sound

get up to highway speed and push in the clutch and listen. It's much more likley to be a wheel bearing than something with the diff. If you neglect it, it will get worse and worse. Eventually you will hear it more when you turn and it will be plenty loud even at lower speeds. Don't neglect it.
