Default Anything else you guys would do when doing the PVC system?

Got these parts from 1stvwparts so far...

(3) 058-905-291 check valve
(1) 034-129-101-B "puck"
(1) N-904-673-01 breather tube seal
(1) 058-103-213 breather tube
(1) 06A-103-247 bleeder valve housing
(1) 035-103-245-A bleeder valve

Already did the valve cover gasket and I'm not sure if I want or need to do the cam seals and cam chain tensioner. So besides those is there anything else you would recommend doing?

Default Depending upon your model year

There are 3 normal check valves, and one that has an extra nipple/opening. This odd one is part number 058905291d (same price as the others)

If you have one, I'd also do the 'Y' pump (oil jet suction pump)
058 133 753 B

New vac lines
Clamps

While it is open, might as well replace the air filter, clean the MAF, take off and clean the throttle body

If you didn't do the cam seals but you have already done the valve cover gasket - then don't bother unless you see a problem. Probably wise to do them both at the same time whenever you have the opportunity though.

Default I've got a 1998.5 AEB...

so I don't have the Y pump (058 133 753 B).

I'll look around for the other check valve.

Thanks

Default 2nd on the TB. I ordered my parts for this weekend. The Intake manifold will come off

so I can clean it up, change that gasket, replace the injector o-rings and just to simply have more room to work on the pcv system.
