The potential buyer decided that he couldn't spend the money. This is a lovely chip, in a Spare ECU (2001 M Box, currently coded for Quattro Tip, but can be recoded per your needs.)
Included are options:
Spare ECU w/APR Chip Installed (APR Price: $1179)
Two EMCS Programs - Stock/Chipped (APR Price: $149)
Throttle Body Alignment/Fault Code Erase (APR Price: $89)
Security Code Lock (APR Price: $89)
Brand New (Still Sealed) K&N Filter (APR Price: $49)
Total of what it would cost from APR: $1,555.00 Plus Tax/Shipping
(See http://www.goapr.com/products/ecu_upgrade_a418t.html for current prices.)
I got it on a one day Christmas special for around $1,200.00 plus shipping but they didn't repeat the sale this past Christmas.
ECUs aren't wear items, so it is literally good as new. I have the original instructions, boxes, and receipt.
...but the first $900.00 takes it. Where are you? Two day shipping would be no more than $25.00 I'm sure.
Installation (swap) is a five or ten minute task. Here's a link to the procedure. (It's really, really easy. You need a screwdriver or a socket set):

After driving this for about a year, I believe APR in a Spare ECU is the smoothest and safest option. I'm only selling it because I traded my A4 for an S4.
