...especially the third sentence. To me, this "turn the other cheek" philosophy is just as offensive and threatening to our society as the attitude of the "dinger". <br>BTW, I hope you didn't jinx yourself with the "no dings" statement. The ONE AND ONLY time within the last 15 months that I parked another (non-Audi) car of mine (with a beautiful, brand new paint job) close enough to another car to *possibly* get hit, IT WAS. Nice ding, driver's side, so I get to look at it every day. <br>Murphy's Law at work here?

Another problem is that people are so quick to apologize thinking that "I said I was sorry!" is a good substitute for being careful in the first place. If everyone were as considerate as the people who've responded to this topic in this forum, then the necessity to apologize would be rare indeed.<br>
