Default apr chip for a4

I am a freshman at Auburn, and it is awesome to live 5 minutes from APR. I got my 2000 black 1.8 quattro a4 about 7 months ago, and i am thinking about adding the apr chip. I would like to hear from anyone who has had a good or bad experience with the chip.

Default I have the chip

The best money I have ever put into my car, this even includes the time my brakes stopped working and I had to put $700 into it to get those luxury back again.

The chip will make your car just feel better and more surefoot on the road.

Default 5 min away? How could you not go APR.

The chip question has really been explored in minute detail. As I am sure many will mention . . . use the SEARCH button weedhopper.

But aside from all other issues, being close to your tuner is often more important than any other consideration. I can personally attest that being four + hours away from the nearest tuner makes me weigh each change much more carefully.

Chip and enjoy!

Default I have the Stage 1 and love it.

It won't turn your A4 into a 911 turbo, but it is worth every cent. Works well right off the bat and you can feel your car really grab at the road. Where you'll notice the differences most depends on how you like to drive, but you will certainly notice and enjoy what it adds.
You get close to the 3.0/2.8 performance for a small fraction of the difference in price.

Default APR received my ECU this morning. WOOHOOO!

Should have it by tomorrow. Do they usually send you a confirmation that they have it?

Default I love it

They do great work, and you can't beat having the tuner close by in case you ever have questions. Check my post from last night about what I think of them.

Great Customer Service
