Default APR Chip question

I recently bought the 1.0 Bar chip from APR. I have a 1999 Audi A4 1.8tsqm, therefore its a pre-DBW. I guess my chip slipped through the cracks and APR forgot to provide me a switch for my 2 rpograms (stock, and 91 octane). APR has been very helpful with fixing the problem, the only inconvenience is i would have to have my car out of order for a couple days to send the ECU back. My question is, is my car with the chip installed now in chip mode? i just popped it in, there are no switches. If someone who is knowledgeable with this area could answer me back i would appreciate it.

I'm confused, are you saying pre-dbw 1.8T's don't use the cruise control buttons for EMCS slots?
