Default apr exhaust
how much of a gain is there in terms of horsepower with the apr exhaust on a 2001 A4 1.8T? (includes full catback and downpipe)

Typically 10-15% on our cars from what I hear.

Default apr states a 10hp gain...
when used in conjuntion with their stage I chip.

Default I'm sure there is some gain but
you won't feel it like you would a chip. But it sounds great -- I had to help someone jumpstart their car today. When he cranked, I revved with the door open. Sounded great!

my A4 dyno'd at 217hp with X chip and APR exhaust. GIAC claims 40 for the chip. that leaves 7hp.
