The "stage 1" package:
You won't see much (if any) improvement over your stock set-up. Slotted/drilled rotors won't make a difference on the street. For that money, you should put together the A8 package. It consists of A8 rotors, and TT caliper carriers (keep the stock caliper). The caliper carriers allow you to run the larger, A8 rotor. You'd probably need new pads as well. You can order the parts separately from ClairParts for around $500 or buy a package sold by various tuners. Do a search for A8 upgrade, you'll find lots of information.
The Stoptech kit is around $1500 IIRC, and yes it IS better than the A8 kit...but it's 3x as much. For normal, everyday driving I'd say the Stoptech is overkill. Good luck

There is a FAQ on it. Short list: TT caliper brackets and A8 rotors.
You can get them from a dealer or online. Also you can contact some friends of mine at Munich Sport and they can get them cheaper than a dealer. Give 'em a call and tell them Greg sent you.

Munich Sport

Keep in mind dannya4, that the APR Stage 1 is new breaks front/rear, A8 is front only
So if you need rear brakes, it's gonna cost more to do A8 + replace rear pads and/or rotors than to get the APR stage 1 all around. Hoewever, the A8 upgrade will offer you an improved braking setup.

Even still, you can do the front A8 upgrade AND get rear rotors and pads...
...for almost the same price as the "stage I" kit. OEM rear rotors are $30 each, and Mintex pads for the rear are $30. So add $90 to the A8 upgrade. Only thing you wouldn't be getting is the stainless steel lines, which don't tend to have that much of an affect anyways. Not trying to wean you away from the StageI kit, just letting you know your options. Good luck.
