Arg, clutch/tranny question for you experts....
when i attempt to slowly accelerate my car from a dead stop i hear a high pitched squeel coming from my car (sometimes it sound like it's from the driver's side rear wheel). i have a 99.5 1.8tQ 5spd manual with Spec II clutch and LWFW on for 6000 miles. it only does it when i dont release the clutch very quickly, basically if im letting the clutch out slowly. whats happening?? could it be the thrust bearing? is my clutch going out? I know aftermarket clutches don't last as long as stock, but I was hoping to get atleast another 10-15k miles out of this one...

Mine does the same thing....
and its embarrasing as hell at stop lights. Its a very loud squeel as im letting out the clutch slow in first gear. I have taken it back to the mechanic who installed my spec stage 2 and lwfw and he said everything looks fine. he said it may have something to do with the lwfw so im thinking about taking it out and putting int he stock flywheel to see if that works...
