Argh... too many suspension options! Can't decide what would be the best for me...

They are absolutely amazing. I couldn't believe how nice djnelsen's car rode, and the handling was really superb. Even on some really crappy roads up here in Vermont. I had dj take the car up a dirt road with lots of big holes and washboard, and the thing was every bit as comfortable as my non sport Avant. Maybe actually more comfortable, as there was no sea sick feeling.. I really want to get Bilstiens for my Avant, but I need the ground clearance more than the looks, so I am going to go with the HDs, which apparently are not quite as stiff as the Sports, but apparently have a longer shaft to deal with the longer springs.

fist you need to think about want your really looking for in a suspension set. I would say try to find people in your area who have upgraded and take a ride with them. reading reviews is very helpful but so is takin a ride!
I had the bilstein- h&r spring set up and I did not like it at all! the springs felt very bouncy @ speed on the highway... I had them on for about 30 seconds.

I have Bilstein sports + the stock sport springs....similar to H&R sport springs, but slightly stiffer.
My ride is the furthest thing from "bouncy". It's extremely damp (opposite of bouncy), very firmly planted to the road.
Are you sure you weren't using Bilstein HD's?
