Default Attaching Front Valence to Bumper

I recently bought a used bumper off audiworld classifieds to replace my old one which had been badly gouged by a trailer hitch. I just received the new (used) bumper and it looks fine, but the valence (the lower black trim) is cracked and not attached to the bumper. There are black plastic rivets/tabs/things on either end of the bumper that look like they'll simply snap right into corresponding holes on the valence. So does that mean that the valence can be "snapped" in or out? I ask because I want to use the valence from my old bumper which is in perfect condition, and plan on installing the new bumper myself.

Default Yes. Just take your time removing your valance.

The tabs can become brittle. Use a small screwdriver and a set of needle nose pliers to press the tabs.

Default I wish I could tell you how many there are, but my belly pan and front valence were...torn off...so

I have no idea how many of those little half turn screws or bolts there are.
