what did you do before reinstalling the peices in the car?
did you use a polish? which one?
or did you use a clear coat or laquore of some kind.

There were way too many fingerprint marks, etc for my liking. I'm not really sure what I should have coated the trim with, but it really does need some sort of protection.
I ended up replacing the stripped aluminum trim with S4 aluminum trim (much nicer) and haven't had a problem since.

after you strip the trim clean it good with lacquer tinner before puting the clear coat on the trim.
