I currently own a 99 Audi A4 Quattro 2.8. The car has started to misfire and really get on my nerves. The bulk of the problem is when there is a load on the engine like accelerating or going up hills, cruising speeds and idling are not too bad. I have had the codes ran and I am getting a P1300 and a P0306 code. I was wondering if anyone has had similar experiences or know what the problem could be. i have been seeking out some pointers, trying to avoid taking it to the mechanic. I have changed the plugs but no luck. My next guess is the coil pack or plug wires. Also my vacuum lines have been broken and repaired before but i don't think that would cause the misfire.I was wondering what ways I could test these because both parts are rather expensive. Or it could be something else completely, I am just looking for some help. Sorry I am newer to Audis and am in desperate need of help.
