So now you need to pull one plug wire and insert a spare plug; if this sparks when cranked, there's a good likelyhood the rest do too. If it doesn't, the problem will be in the ignition system.

Let's say it sparks OK. Next unscrew a spark plug and smell it; If no gas smell, suspect that the fuel pump may not be running. Try these and let us know what happens.

.
I should have mentioned that the spare plug has to have its threads touching bare, grounded metal, such as the aluminum cylinder head.

I'd remove the ground from the battery, turn the key ON to drain the capacitors in the various ECUs, and then re-connect the battery, and try to start the car. Make sure you have your radio code handy, obviously.

If the car starts normally, that's good, but I'd still consider pulling the codes to see if that controller malfunction comes back. That's not a good error code to get.

Has this car been chipped, or ever had the ECU removed for any reason?

I am sorry for replying late. I dont know if the car has been chipped but one of the guys who looked into the car says the ECU had been changed from the original one that came with the car

Glad you mentioned that. Next thing to replace is your Coolant Temperature Sensor.
