Default I actually like it.

Especially the back and sides. The front takes some getting used to though.<p>As for performance, it's the best handling FWD car I've ever driven.

Default Actually the front heads and rear tails (lights) are somewhat reversed in comparison to the previous model prelude...It's hot!

Default A4 and GSR not in same SCCA class for autocross? (more)

They are both in stock...G Stock. Or were you just referring to the Street Prepared, Prepared, Modified, and Pro classes?<p>Regards,<br>Rodney<p>'99 A4 1.8tqms<p>PS Quattro is a MUST, it includes a better rear suspension in addition to its other benefits.

Yes, I should have mentioned... The cars people were mentioning here are all prepped, chips, springs etc. which disqualifies them from G stock.<br>The Integra GS-R is in class GS, otherwise.<p>Our local sports car chapter mixes classes for the weekend events as there are not enough members to separate. <p>I love the Quattro, and myself am still learning how to drive this car differently than my Teg. With the 'teg I would heal-toe brake into a turn, downshift and accelerate out, modulating the gas to keep me lined up. I must attend a drivers class for 4wds to start exploring the limits of my new car.<p>Later

I'm still getting used to it too. I usually don't get back on the gas early enough, it's amazing how early and hard you can get back on the gas in a corner with Quattro. I'm also working on my heal-toe shifting, but the pedals don't seem too conducive to this. Fortunately, there's so much torque down low that you can get away with being in a higher gear.<p>Regards,<br>Rodney<p>'99 A4 1.8tqms

Default Re: AutoX

I beat the new prelude and GS-Rs, the Type R is VERY rare and I doubt I will ever run into one...some of the guys put Type R badges on their GS-Rs. Much like the Maxima, I think the engine is high quality but they have weak wheel/tire/suspension set-ups. Besides having amazing suspension(sport) , Quattro adds alot to the performance, wet or dry! I have standing bets with two of my friends for this Sundays event, one has a 98 Mustang GT and the other has a 98 Integra GS-R...we'll see what happens

Default integra -> A4 2.8

I always thought integra RS/LS to A4 2.8 or 328i was a natural migration path too. I'm one of them. I'm not sure about integra to 1.8T though, especially from GSR. I have to agree with you though, the reason I'm moving to A4 is the luxury/sports balance. (TL wanted to be just that, and failed on both accounts as far as i'm concerned).
