I know people are going to moan as i have been researching thi for around a year and also when i was going to turbo a honda prelude with the engine that has no point in tuning, like my a4 2.8.
i will move this thread if wanted! i am posting for people that have searched the interent trying to find performance help that have ended up with the boring v6, i love the car and do not want a 1.8 turbo mainly because i like a test and like to be the odd one out that has made the impossable, possable!
the 2.8 v6 has next to no aftermarket performance parts other than a exhaust system and a supercharger for 5k,
EVERYTHING HAS TO BE CUSTOM!!
this will be done in next couple of week.
parts that are on way:
slimline intercooler
turbo from a mercedes c250
oil return and feed.
parts to still buy:
bov
stainless air pipe
k&n
the hard part:
getting a exhaust flange for the turbo made, (local workshop)
we will be mounting a single turbo on the down pipe where the 2 meet, almost a remote mount turbo, they will be abit of lag but c'mon its a 2.8 its already quick.
feeding piping around a very tight engine.
will be running on a daily 6psi which if you look at the supercharger it gives 5.5psi an extra 75bhp!
this engine can take 12psi if your a idiot and have no respect for the motor or your ***** lol
will be controlled via manual boost controller and will crank up to 7psi when i feel like proving my audi is good enough.
so far my estimate is £150 without cost of new flange and a crate of beers for my m8, i will tell true costs once finished and pictures will oon be up.
ANY ARGUMENTS WELCOMED!
ANY ADVICE AND I THANK YOU!!
IF I HELP YOU THAT IS MY MAIN GOAL!

Move yourself over the Audizine where there is much more serious engine discussions and projects. You'll get lots more feedback. Oh, I believe 034 is working on a single turbo solution for your motor.

I think you'd be better off buying a 2.7T engine from a salvage yard and just swapping it in. From what I've seen, there are only a very few new connections that would need to be made. Best bet you can get the whole wiring harness and ECU.

we all end up with hopeless cars at some point, but that makes it more fun lol, was supposed to be starting this weekend but somebody very nice tried to steal my car last night,
also got a bit of a problem if you guys can help????
i need to convert the 2 downpipes so it turns to single pipe closer to the block, which also means i need to convert from twin cat to a single high flow cat, will this be ok through emissions testing??? thanks guys.
