Default Audi Alignment

Audi wanted $160 for an alignment so i took my 96 Audi A4 2.8 to an independant mechanic with 20 years MBenz experience. HOW DO I KNOW IF HE REALLY PERFOMED AND ALIGNMENT? The car never really pulled or anything except slight left just got an alignent b/c i got new tires. I just dont know...is there any way to look for evidence of an alignment. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default Wheel alignments

Louis,

Typically, just because you get new tires, you don't need to get an alignment. You may however, want to get the alignment checked. If the alignment is out of wack, then get the alignment done. To know that an alignment has been done, the tech should be able to get a printout of the alignment before and after it's done.

Also, if you have quattro, you need to take your A4 to a dealer or a shop that can do alignments for Audis....special tool required.
