1997 Audi A4 Quattro 2.8L 5-speed

Wondering if anyone has an opinion on what i should purchase.

Audi is now offering springs by eibach for about $300 for the set. pretty cheap. should i go for them ? they lower the car ride by 1.5"

or should i go and purchase springs directly from eibach or another brand, will the performace difference be significant? I'm looking for handling performance and lowered ride height out of the car. granted i'm not taking the car to the track, but will i want more out of the suspension later if i go with the audi(eibach) springs?

One other thing: i've seen coil over shocks, regular adjustable shocks, etc etc. Can anyone recommend a set up ?

also, (this is probably a dumb question) are coil over shocks someting you use instead of springs and shocks ? or you can use coil over shocks and springs are always there no matter what...

plus ur going to need to replace your shocks also if you get lowering springs. I would recommend bilsteins
