Default audi extended warranty

Does Audi offer and extended warranty when you buy a new car? My dealer said no but I'm not sure. Any details? Thanks.

On another note, if you paid for the extended warranty can you "return" it??

Default Really, I have an extended until 75K?

After my 50K was finished, I went on the extended which covers defects or malfunctions as a result of the OEM parts, not wear-n-tear luxuries of the Audi Assured. I only got it b/c I got such a great price on my extended that I could not simply refuse. Btw, I bought mine used with @25K or something like that.I think the extended is about $1,500+ ,but I got mine's at about $500 - hehe. And, no, when you purchase it you're stuck with it. You can always purchase third party warranties. There are a couple of good one's that others can recommend. I believe 'Zuma4' has some good knowledge and suggestions on this matter.

There is no reason to buy an extended warranty with a new car. You have absolutely NO accurate way to determine if you'll actually even still be the person owning/paying for the car in another 4yr/50k miles.

Sure you may be on a 5 year finance plan, but that sure doesn't mean you won't sell it before there.

It's wasted money to buy extended warranties up front. Buy it when the original warranty is reaching its limits.

Default look at the bright side...

If you DO keep the car past the new car warranty, you already have it and don't have to drop the cash for it. I'm guessing you just financed it in with the rest of the cost, or just paid cash up front already.

If you don't keep the car, and sell it privately, it's something you can instantly say is worth $1500 (or whatever the cost was) because warranties don't de-value if you havn't even used it.
