well, one dead turbo will cost you about $1500-$2000 to replace.

depends on what it doesn't cover and/or if there's a Ded. Who quoted you $2000?

100k miles? I'd do definitely get it for that price.

Default I just called my dealer because I'm curious. Here's what I was told:

The dealer needs to buy the car from you, run it through its certification process, fix anything, then sell the car back to you for the cost of the warranty plus any work that needs to be done to pass their certification process. Obviously, if your car is still under warranty, you go to your service manager, explain the situation and have them fix anything while still under warranty. I was told the warranty is roughly $1500. Then, you continue to go to the Audi dealers and pay $50 for each visit above $50. You have up until 70k miles to do so. Obviously, if you're going this route, you'd do it when your warranty is over 3/50 (or 4/50 for 01s like mine).

Also, if you don't have your title, they're probably going refinance your car with Audi or whatever bank is having the best rate that week. This could work out for you depending on your current finance rate. Hopefully, the dealer will allow you to buy the car for your purchase price, which they should if they ever want your business.

So, make your decision and call your dealer. I'd be afraid to have them own my mod'ed car and denying it. Then, what? I guess since you would technically hand over the title to them, they could keep your car with mods. Now, why would they ever do that? I have no idea, but they could. no thanks. go aftermarket. search my name for my recent findings.
