I think it may be more clear to write "Ah-ooh-dee" as in howdy or ouch, versus "Aw-dee" as in audio.

And, the answer is "Ah-ooh-dee."

the way they say Audi in their advertising is the correct way to say the name? The ads clearly pronounce it "owdi/owdee"

Maybe it really is "ohdi/ahdi" and they just feel like blowing millions of dollars on ads where the name is mis-pronounced.
