Default Audi Roadside Assistance vs. AAA plus

I just got my A4 which comes with roadside assistance but I still have an AAA Plus account with AAA. If I were to have car trouble, which one would be best for me to call? Any thoughts? I'm in Los Angeles if that's relevant.

Thanks,
Alex

Default AAA is cheap enough. I have both.

Maybe I'm a little paranoid, but since my A4 is slightly modified, I decided to keep AAA Plus.

Twice I had to get towed (flatbedded) home because of modifications-gone-bad. I did not want to hear anything from AoA saying that it was not a warranty repair, and that they wouldn't cover the cost of the towing either.
So AAA is cheap insurance and peace of mind.

Plus they have some other really nice feaures, like Triptiks, maps, travel books, etc.

Default I dropped the "plus" on the account...

I've still got a regular AAA memberships, with all the benefits for maps, triptiks, travel, etc. I just couldn't see paying the extra on the "plus" for what amounts to just towing coverage. After the Audi Advantage expires on my wife's A6, I may pick up the "plus" coverage again but right now both our cars are covered by Audi for any towing.

Audi Advantage uses AAA for towing, and I doubt if you'd get any faster response if you called using your AAA Plus. I recommend you save some bucks and drop the "plus."

Default We added the plus after my 87 Jeep clutch slave cylinder failed in Estes Park and had to be

towed from there to Fort Collins - for $100+.

Default Depends on the other car in the family

I have two other cars without Audi Mobility that could/should need a long distance tow in the next two years. I am upgrading to cover those cars...not my S4. So what I am saying is that it depends on what kinda car your non-Audi is.
