I just bought a 99.5 a4 1.8tq. It has the standard monster truck offroad looking suspension. I see on the audi site that you can get a spring kit from Eibach for around $300USD. Can I have this kit put on with the standard shocks? The tech at my Audi dealer said that all I need is the spring kit to lower the car. Is this true???

You will wear your shocks out very fast since they will allways be compressed. Everyone here will recommend you get upgraded shocks too or you will be paying for the install twice before you know it to replace your dead shocks.

You have the springs with stock shocks? If so, are your shocks getting mushy?
