Audi stage 3replacement Garrett T28 vs nissan sr20DET turbo
Hi,
Im thinking of getting a stage 3 turbo kit. I notice all of the kits i have looked at have a garrett t28 turbo as the replacement turbo. My quesition is, is this the same turbo as the garrett t28 turbo on an sr20det, the engine in the nissan s15 240sx's. Because i can get one of those for a whole lot cheaper than what they are offering.
They look pretty similar in the pictures but they may have been modified to fit certain components on the 1.8T engine.

getting the hardware is easy. software is a whole different ballgame
You will also need an Exh. manifold, injectors, plumbing for the kit, etc... Do some research, you will realize that a kit will be much easier for you in the long run.
