Audi TT factory chip - available?
Just read in European Car how nice the 1.8T engine is in the TT. Rated at 185hp - what pressure is this running? Is the mapping different/better than the tuners? Will it be available as a swap in part? Any other thoughts on this subject?

My thoughts....
FYI,
The 180HP TT engine is much more than a a4 engine turned sideways. I believe both 1.8T engines share the same turbo, but the TT has the boost turned up more for an increase in power. Other than that, the differences end there. For instance, the TT is a drive by wire system with a more complex Bosch Motronic 7.5 system.
Just be patient, the 180HP will be arriving on US shores in 2001.
