Would anyone recommend a place to get a 1.8TQ sport tuned in NYC area<br>Chip, exhaust, filter<br>Should I order stuff from aftermarket vendors, and have it installed by someone proffesional or do it myself. Mind you, I am not too familiar with the mechanics of cars, especially German ones.<br>Thanks in advance.

>>any closer to NYC? <p>None that I know of but I can remember some people from the forum talking about another tuning shop--perhaps in New City, NJ but I can't remember exactly.<p>Most of the sport tuning work on my GTi was performed at Velocity Sport Tuning out in LA but I went to RAPID for normal maintenance after moving to this area on a recommendation from Velocity and they were able to diagnose some tricky problems that the dealer couldn't. Their meticulous attention to detail and excellent service won me over.<p>I know Jim has owned several Audi Quattros.<p>Best,<br>Jeff

<br>Three good ones i know of, Bruno Kreibichs Quattro Center in Queens, Bruno had 3 Ur-Quattro Rally cars, but sometimes is reluctant to do performance work. We also have Ross Esposito at RIPP in staten island. he has a highly modified 10V. He will do anything you want. Out in New jersey, there is Andrew King R&A who i recommend as well.<p><br>

Rob: All my work was done at Rally Motorsports in Hackensack, NJ. They have always gone beyond the call of duty for me. Call George at 201 342-8374. This is the shop that did the R&D work with Frank on the 1bar chip & the K04 setup (contrary to what sportwheels would have people believe) on my car on their dynojet. SM

Andrew King at R&A did an excellent job on my car. <br>He offers Abt products as well. He has a lot of insight on upgrades as he is an enthusiast that races. Andrew is extremely particular and exact when it comes to installations.<p>dan
