Audi uses a 5x112 bolt pattern right? What about the offset, or does that not matter when buying...

Offset is a issue if you are going with wider tires and wheels and lowering.
7.5" rims can handle 45mm offset through ~ 32mm.
Tires wider than 225 will probably need offsets greater than 45.
Stock S4 rims are 17x7.5 et 45
my rims are 17x7.5 et 40.
Most after market rims are et 35. (some A! wheels were 32mm)
