I doubt it, half of VW's brands are under the other group

Default NO TO FORD...Audi will get lost in the Premier automotive group at ford

that consist of:

Volvo
Landrover
Aston-Martin
Jaguar

If anything, I would like to see Toyota or Honda buy Audi, or, to the shock of everyone..BMW.

Most likely scenario...Audi will be left alone

Default perhaps the fact that Audi just baught Lamborghini has something to do with it

Perhaps Audi is going to be moving into the more high end class.

Perhaps we will see the A4/S4 price range of car become a VW only product, with Audi only putting out cars with A6 price level and up. WHich would mean introducing even more expensive cars than the S8.

Just a few thoughts.

Default I think the US carmakers are worried about bigger things than consolidation.

Profits being one big thing.

Ya don't cut dividends if you have extra cash to throw around.
