I have a 99' A4 with 38000 miles on it. Sometimes when I drive on the rough road( like small potholes), I feel the front right wheel is "shaking." I brought the car to dealer this morning, and they told me that it could be the joint of the control arm worn out. However, they said it wasn't "bad enough". They didn't want to fix that under warranty, because Audi of America might reject the claim. And they also told me this was tolerable, I shouldn't expect my car works like a new car. Is this true?? Audi has a standard guideline that if the part is not bad enough to see it physically, it shouldn't cover by warranty.

Thanx! Actually, I am talking with them now. They say if the dealer doesn't see the sign that should be "concered." They don't have to replace it. If the technician and I both hear the sound from the suspension, does that qualify to be concerned?? Actually. I was told by the dealer to wait till it gets worse.
