Wiring up a Sony HU model CDX-GT310 using metra 70-1787 harness kit.

Here are the details for the Sony harness:
White-White/Black : Front Left +/-
Gray-Gray/Black : Front Right +/-
Green-Green/Black : Rear Left +/-
Purple-Purple/Black : Rear Right +/-
Blue : Antenna Rem?
Blue/White : Amp Rem?
Red : +
Yellow : +
Black : Ground

Here are the details of the Metra Kit:
White/Gray RCA's : Front L/R
White-White/Black-Gray-Gray/Black : Not used
Green/Purple RCA's : Rear L/R
Blue : Antenna Turn-on Wire
Blue/White : Amp Turn-on
Red : + (Assumed)
Yellow : + (Assumed; Ignition on?)
Black : Ground
Orange/White : <b>???</b>

So here's the plan: Going to get some blank RCA connectors and turn the Sony Harness Speaker wiring into recipient RCA's to the metra kit.

Am I right to assume that I can just match up the wiring from the Sony harness to the metra kit and all will be well?

What is the Orange/White wire for? Is that needed for anything that I need to hook it up?

Audio forum is a tad slow and I'd like to tackle this tomorrow evening.

I know I'm missing the antenna amplifier. I'll pick that up first chance I get.

Still haven't done the HU install. Go halted about how to mount it in the glove box, so nothing wired up yet.
