Default Hummmm...1.8ts are not at all reliable. u guys are always bitchin about somethin

the 12v has the potenial, just like 1.3l civic engines. I bet there are more 11 sec civics than A4s.

Default Well, for 1, I'm 24. Second - you just proved my point.........

your engine is NOT the new Audi - it's the old fart Audi.

BTW - Audi used to kick *** a long time ago, then after the unintended acceleeration thing they started maknig bland products for a number of years. Your engine is born of that era.

Default That's because the people who don't have problems don't post to say. "Hey guys just letting you know

I have no problems" It's a forum...people with problems post. I don't care if there are 100x more 11 second civics then A4's I have *** warmers..hehe.

Default I agree.........lets compare the new 3.0 to the BMW 3.0:

BMW still beats it out by 10hp, BMW still gets better MPG, and every Automotive journalist prefers the BMW inline 6 to any other 6 pot out there.

I am NOT bashing V6 owners....I am directing my frustration to Audi engineers. Audi needs to be getting 230-235 hp out of that V6 if they want to stay in the game. The hp wars have started, And Audi is still sitting at home watching the war on CNN when it should be out there kicking butt.

And Audis are getting WAAAAAAAAY too heavy....I can understand the worthwhile gain of say 200 pounds for Quattro, but the BMW 330i is 400 pounds lighter than the A4 (according to new C&D magazine).

Default The bottom end is bulletproof. EVERY single Audi has had top end issues.......

such as lifters.

Not sure exactly what your point is about the Civics, but uhhhhhh, OK whatever.

Default There are plenty of 12v A4s with Turbos and Superchargers.

Not every mod that you could possibly do to an Audi is in this forum, and not every Audi thats modded is known about on this forum. I have seen a 12v A4 with a Grand National Turbo blow doors off other cars, and i've seen a 12v with a Supercharger (not the PES one.). Everything can be made to fit something else...it just depends on how good of an idea it is, and how reasonable the price is.
