Default Audithings Handsfree Phone Adapter - DIY?

I see that audithings.com (anyone have experience with them?) has a handsfree phone kit "coming soon" that appears to just be a wire that plugs into the RJ-45 in the armrest and a circuit on with a DB-25 for the trunk plug.

Does anyone have any experience hand-making a similar kit? I don't care about powering my phone (a nokia 3390), I just want to be able to plug a wire in the armrest into the nokia's headset jack and use the mike and speaker in the car.

Anyone ever done this? I don't want to buy a car kit and tear it up, that seems like overkill... Ideas?

Been there. Those are all too complex, I don't need a handset and charging, etc. Should be easy way

Default in order to get the built-in wiring to work ... you'll need the DB25 patch box

everyone I've seen has connected the power, but I suppose you wouldn't need to.

Here's a post from coocoomike where he connected the inside wiring to the mini ear/mic jack on a cell phone ... still required the DB25 patch box & the RJ45 patch car ... seems easier though.

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/1383942.phtml

If your phone is compatible with Nokia HF for Nokia 3360 then you are good to go no patch box needed

3390 and 3360 are almost identical, so anything that works with the 3360 works for me.
