Auto Body Shops in NYC (Manhattan)
Anyone know of a really good body shop to work on mint '00 A4 2.8 Avant which was hit (and run) by some jackass last week. I've already checked with the local Porsche, MB, and Audi service places in town and they don't refer people to shops other than their own.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I know of one in brooklyn... Rojo Collisions -- on Foster Ave in Brooklyn.
It's owned and run by a fellow Audi Enthusiast.
He worked on my S4, and 2 other AudiWorlder's
that I know of. The work is perfect, and
you'd know as soon as you stepped in the shop.
It's big and incredibly nice. Ask for Jimmy Jr.

Thanks. You're the second AW'er to recommend Rojo, so they must be good. I work over in the auto repair district in Manhattan, far-west 50's, and was kinda hoping to find a place nearby, Failing that, I'll probably make the trip to Rojo, assuming they can either make the repair for the Insurance Co.'s estimate, or negotiate for more $$ on their own.

I wouldn't worry about the insurance $$ not being enough.
Rojo's a pro shop for every major insurance
company. Goes to prove that being good doesn't
mean you have to be super expensive. They'll
take care of negotiating with the insurance
company, and they have a lot of pull with the
insurance companies as well due to their great
reputation.

Thanks Waseem,
I took the easy route and am having the work done by Auto Tech on West 56th (4 blocks from my workplace). I took a look at their workroom and saw enough high-priced German cars that I felt comfortable. The repairs aren't that extensive, and they (Geico & Auto Tech) guarantee the work for the life of the car. Plus, I'll have the car back by Friday.
