An automatic prelude has the same amount of torque as a stick. Same 0-60 then?

Huh? NO automatic version of a car has ever gone as fast as manual AFAIK.

So the effects of the slush box occur after their 200hp, 150 torque specs?

Default BTW, the reason I ask is my friend just got a prelude and I want to see how badly I will smoke him.

I was about to buy a prelude when I bought my car. I made such a great choice! Just a little more money but so much more in the car!

The 200hp spec for the prelude is misleading and makes it seem like the car is fast. People who don't know will think it's faster than the 150hp or now 170hp A4.

Default Yeah, auto's sap torque, and with a stick you can engage the clutch higher in the powerband. plus...

1st gear in a stick is geared lower, allowing a quicker start.
