Autometer Gauge --- Should I get 20psi or 30psi?(more)
I have Apr EMCS V.3, boost shouldn't go over 20, but would a 30 be more accurate?
Any advice, ideas?

I got the 20 PSI as I can see the graduations easier
If I had an UrQ which went to over 20 psi, I would have the 30, but since I have a 1 bar chip, I figger the boost spikes won't go over 20 for very long...
Let us know how the install goes. Min'e on order from carparts.com, ships the 15th... Grr.<p>99.5 1.8Tqms Laser Red

I'd get the 20psi gauge. (more)
Since the boost is only about 15-17psi you would be using a greater percentage of the gauge's sweep with the 20psi gauge. Therefore the 20psi guage should be more accurate than the 30psi gauge.

I would get a 25 or 30 psi unit..
A 20 psi unit will be at its far end of the scale. You get more resolution with a 25 or 30 psi unit. In the summer you may see spikes higher than 20.
There are many good units out there. I am using a www.westach.com FAA gauge now. Its works well and was cheap. It is 30-30 vac-boost.
I ordered the VDO kit from AWE. It arrived yesterday. Man, it looks nice. I cant wait to install it. The VDO nightvision gauge goes to 25 psi which is still high enough for me.
I allso recommend that you get a Gauge with Vac. The car is in Vac most of the time. Its great for watching your economy.

Do you have a pic of the VDO? Is it mechanical? Cost?
