Ok. I did some digging and found out that their headquarters (or office/research/production facility) is about 20 minutes from my house! And their sales manager (Pat) lives literally around the corner from me! He said I could come by and he would give me a tour. Talked to him about the chip. it is $400, 45hp, 42lbs of torque, 11psi. It has a Lifetime warranty, and a 30 day Money back garauntee! They have been doing chips for Porsche and BMW for like 25 years! He was a very nice guy. I'm going to try to get over ther this Saturday. I will post any other info. Plus I just may buy the chip in the next two weeks so I will definately let you guys know! Keep in mind that those figures in C&D were of a Front wheel drive car, so Quattro will be a tenth or two slower! Later.<p>Chris

Hmm...don't think the quattro times will be any slower, in fact, maybe faster if you don't care about your clutch. You'd get a much harder launch with no wheelspin with quattro...and the gear ratios on the A4Q are shorter than on the FWD....so maybe the Q might even be faster!<p>Cheers,<br>-Ash<br>98.5 1.8TQMS

Please ask him about the following:<p>1) is it a reprogram or their own chip?<br>2) do they offer socketed option?<br>3) how much down time?<br>4) free upgrades?<p>Given the amount of traffic on this forum over the past several days about this chip, would he condsider a group purchase discount?
