Forgot to add that my car was brand new. I took delivery of the car with only 14 miles on it. They trucked it to Atlanta from a dealer in Charlotte, NC. I had found a '00 with 8500 miles on it for only $500 less than I paid for mine with more options and a longer warranty. Needless to say, I am NOT disappointed that I bought mine new. ;->

I ordered my car on July 17th.

Dealer told me "probably" end of September build, mid-October delivery.

He then placed the order but was able to "modify" an order they alread had in the system. With that delivery was moved up to the end of September. I was psyched.

So last week the AoA rep calls my dealer and told them there was an issue with Avant production and I'm looking at a 9 week delay. Prod moves to week 39 (end of Sept) and deliv one month later.

I have posted some lisitngs asking other AudiWorld viewers if they have had this experience and received no responses.

BTW in Europe I have been told that the majority of cars are Avants if trends continue and the USA customers keep longing to be like the Euro's then Avant sales should pick up and hopefully help me with resale in a few years.
